1. Inspection & Exposure Assessment
We assess wall condition, existing coatings, cracking patterns, and exposure to wind-driven rain. Particular attention is given to junctions, window openings, and known weak points before any system is specified.
2. Sealing of Windows, Joints & Penetrations
Before coating begins, all vulnerable areas such as window frames, construction joints, and service penetrations are resealed using UV-resistant polyurethane sealants. These flexible seals accommodate movement and prevent water ingress at common failure points.
3. Surface Preparation & Crack Treatment
Loose or defective coatings are removed, and cracks are properly treated to ensure the weatherproof system can perform as intended. Correct preparation is critical for adhesion and longevity.
4. Application of Weatherproof Coating System
A fibre-reinforced, breathable weatherproof coating system (such as Weatherklad) is applied to seal fine cracks, resist moisture ingress, and protect the structure while allowing trapped moisture to escape.
