1. Assessment & Water Source Identification
We start with a detailed inspection to determine how water is entering the basement or cellar. Below-ground moisture is often driven by groundwater pressure rather than surface leaks, so identifying the source and pressure conditions is essential before selecting a treatment.
2. Pressure Relief & Drainage (Where Required)
Where groundwater pressure is present, we install perimeter drainage and sump pump systems to relieve hydrostatic pressure. By controlling water at source and redirecting it safely away, we prevent moisture from being forced into the structure.
3. Internal Tanking & Waterproof Plaster Systems
Basement walls are treated with cementitious tanking and waterproof plaster systems, creating a continuous internal barrier against lateral water ingress. This system is designed to withstand constant moisture exposure while remaining structurally stable.
4. Reinstatement & Long-Term Protection
Once waterproofing is complete, surfaces are reinstated to a clean, dry finish suitable for use as storage, living space, or wine cellars. Our systems are selected for durability, longevity, and compatibility with below-ground environments.
