Why Ground Water Can Cause Issues

When ground water is not correctly managed, pressure builds against foundations and floors, forcing moisture into structures and causing ongoing damp problems.

How We Fix It - Properly

Ground water problems cannot be solved internally — water must be intercepted, controlled, and safely discharged.

1. Inspection & Analysis

We assess site levels, soil conditions, and natural water flow to determine how ground water is moving and where pressure is building around the structure.

2. French Drain Installation

A trench is excavated and lined with geotextile before installing perforated drainage pipe surrounded by washed stone to intercept and redirect ground water.

3. Water Collection

Collected water is directed via gravity drainage or channelled toward a designated collection point, preventing saturation at the foundation edge.

4. Sump Installation

Where gravity drainage is not possible, a sump system with an automatic pump is installed to actively remove collected water and discharge it safely away from the structure.
